About Us

We are former graduate students from UC Berkeley having both earned our masters in civil engineering. During our studies, we were introduced to the concepts of the Last Planner® System by Professor Glenn Ballard (its inventor).

Since then we have conducted research in Lean Construction and have applied the Last Planner® on several construction projects in the United States and in Norway. Our goal with My Work Plan is to make this project management tool acessible to a wider audience around the world.

The Last Planner® System of Production Control was developed at UC Berkeley in the early 1990s by Dr. Glenn Ballard and Greg Howell. Since its introduction, the Last Planner® has been applied successfully on large-scale construction projects all over the global -- leading to more reliable cost and schedule outcomes.
