Wohlsen Construction, a top 400 ENR firm with over 125 years in the construction business is currently seeking a BIM Technician to help us get to the next level of technology use to drive efficiencies and reduce risk throughout the company.
What does a successful BIM Technician do on a daily basis?
• Create 3D Models to support Preconstruction and pursuit efforts
• Define, document, and create Revit families for use in modeling
• Research VDC opportunities and solutions
• Create VDC workflows and solutions
Areas of Focus

• Preconstruction & Presentation Support
• Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Support
• Research & Development
How will you be measured?
• Preconstruction modeling efforts
• Marketing and pursuits modeling efforts
• Ability to define, implement, & improve 3D modeling best practices

Requirements
What are the key qualifications desired?
• Architectural, Engineering, Construction, or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or higher
• CM-BIM Certification is a plus
• +2 years of experience in a similar role
• Possess a general knowledge and competency of computer hardware and software
