Akira Inokuma
Akira Inokuma is one of the advisers of the Japan Federation of Construction Management Engineers Associations. About six years ago Akira first learned about Lean Construction. Akira once tried to hold an international conference of Lean Construction in Japan but was unsuccessful because there are only about 50 people who have heard abour Lean Construction in Japan. This contribution is a small compensation of it.

Many people are interested in the Japanese state of Lean Construction because Lean Construction has been born out from the Toyota Production System (TPS). Even now people who know the term "Lean Construction" seem to be less than 50.
