Rafael Franca leads an interdisciplinary team at Robert Bosch Power Tools organized to improve efficiency and productivity in the construction industry through Lean methodologies supported by RefinemySite, the Lean Collaboration Platform. RefinemySite helps teams realize the promise of the Lean Construction Institute’s Last Planner System® by digitizing workflow components and giving team members a simple way to obtain real-time jobsite information, optimize processes and participate in planning. Originally from Brazil, and based in Chicago, Rafael has over 20 years of experience working with Bosch on projects in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. He is an “intrapreneur” responsible for building and growing new businesses for Bosch within the construction industry it has served for over 100 years.
