About Webinar

This webinar serves as a call to action for accelerating lean transformation across the global construction industry. While Lean Construction has grown worldwide, progress has been limited by insufficient collaboration between national Lean Construction Institutes (LCIs) and the International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC).

Key Pathways to Faster Transformation:

The webinar outlines how collaboration between IGLC and national LCIs can drive change through:

  • Making research accessible to practitioners in plain language
  • Challenging traditional thinking in mainstream construction forums
  • Bridging the gap between academic research and practical application
  • Cross-pollination of best practices among national institutes
  • Educating the next generation and owners in Lean principles
  • Developing more capable Lean Construction consultants
  • Providing coaching and support to newcomers without Lean backgrounds

The session emphasizes that meaningful industry transformation requires commitment to collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical application across all levels—from researchers and practitioners to students and owners.
